Getting Started...
First off, you need the Japanese version of Guilty Gear XX #Reload. I'm not asking you to search eBay for it, just go to http://ggxx.wingdreams.net/ and click on "Download GGXX"
Also download WinRAR, if you haven't already.

Afterwards, extract the files to a folder. You can name it anything to help you remember what's in it.
Netplay Patching
After it finishes installing, you're gonna go back to the GGXX website and click on "Netplay Patch"
Once that finishes downloading, go to the C: drive program files (x86 if on windows 7) and open up the Guilty Gear folder.
Then, copy and replace the items that need to be replaced by the patch.
NOTE: Do NOT use the ggxx (english).exe for netplay, only use it for the story mode.

After the files are copied, open up ggxxnet_config.exe.
If you see a picture of Sol Badguy, then you've patched it correctly!
If you see weird blocks where Sol should be, then something might be wrong with the copied files.

After you've checked this, go ahead and open up config.exe and turn V-Sync off, then you can change your controls to however you wish.
Afterwards open up ggxx.exe
Go straight to options, then game options, and put the Short Cut to "On". Without that, you won't see the VS Net or Replay menus.
Go down to "Save/Load" and turn on Auto-Save if it isn't already on.
Save the game, and exit back to the title screen.
Go forward to the main menu again, and there should be two new options at the bottom, VS Net and Replay.
NOTE: The button you asign to Circle is the "A button" of all Japanese games, and Cross is the "B button" to them

Go ahead and go to VS Net, and something similar to this should show up:
If something similar to this doesn't show up, then i recommend going back to the GGXX website and clicking Config Help/FAQ
If everything is fine and dandy, then good luck and have fun on the net!
